Ok this is something I tried back in October, to help celebrate oktoberfest, of course.
Flying Dog Brewery's Dogtoberfest. This beer is definitely one of those classic oktoberfest german style marzen beers. If you don't know the marzen style, it means its heavy on the malt, and heavy on the carmel flavor. I'm not huge on dark beers but this one really hit the spot. This is one of those beers that is distributed widely, so if you happen to see it around next October, pick up a 6er. This beer gets 2 thumbs up from me.

Sounds like a good brew
I tried this a few months ago as well and liked it. To be honest the thing that first brought me to Flying Dog was the fact they worked with Ralph Steadman for their artwork.
Mmm. Heavy on the malt, hopefully light on the hops. That's why I like so many dark beers.
