WOW Cafe and Wingery - Woodstock, GA
Well, to sum it up, the place sucks.
Service was what really made me give this place such a low score.
My friends and I showed up a little late in the evening. Since none of us had been to WOW we decided to check it out. We each ordered a beer and a few appetizers to share.
We were served our food, and brought our beers. This is where it got kind of annoying. We were all halfway done and the waitstaff started trying to push us out the door. First the waitress approached and said, "hey we're not closing yet, but we're getting ready to close, do you mind paying your bill now?" (this was 30 mins before the time they had posted on their door as closing time). Okay, fine, whatever. Then for the next 30 minutes we got rushed through the rest of our meal by the waitress, her asking if we were done yet, to box up the rest of our food, etc etc. Apparently they advertise as being open until 10pm or whatever, but if you show up an hour before closing time don't expect a relaxing time at all. Apparently to the staff, 10pm means all the dishes and everything have to be done, lights off, everyone out of the building, etc etc. When we finally left it was still 5 minutes to "closing" time (what bar doesn't let people hang out for a few minutes past closing time anyways? Apparently not WOW - although they are listed as a bar.)
Whatever, screw that place. Their food isn't that great, the beer selection is sub-par, and the staff are friendly but in way too much of a hurry to get out the door. Which tells me it probably sucks to work there too.
Plus the food is awful and the beer selection is sub-par even for a neighborhood bar and grill joint.
