Beer Review Tuesday - @HeavySeasBeer Black Cannon

Heavy Seas Black Cannon IPA (Clipper City Brewing, Maryland, widely available). This is honestly probably one of the best Heavy Seas beers I've tried, and I previously have enjoyed several of their offerings.

With a 7.25% ABV it packs a cannon-like punch to your stomach. This is an "American Black Ale", so no lightweight crap here.

Citrus, coffee, chocolate, and uhm...well hoppy as hell. I definitely couldn't drink more than two of these at a time thanks to the wallop they pack. Which is actually perfect, because it leaves a few in the fridge for next time.

I give this beer an A grade. Unfortunately it only seems to be a limited time release so I guess this will go the way of the dodo by this summer. Oh well...there are so many other beers to try...Definitely pick it up if you see it around though.

Sounds damn good. I've never heard of it, I doubt the local Ginger Man or Flying Saucer will have it. Which means no local stores will have it. I'm always SOL with awesome looking beers people talk about.
