Beer Review Tuesday - Detroit Dwarf

This is another one of those beers I tried while I was in Michigan over the holidays. I picked this up at Liquor Castle in Livonia, Michigan.

They had several different types of brew available from Detroit Brewing Company, and it was hard to pick. But I ended up picking this one.

"Detroit Dwarf" about sums this up quite well. Dwarf in flavor, quality, and overall just not a very good beer at all. What else would you expect from something with the word "Detroit" in it?

Definitely a sub-par beer. Its like a poor man's Killians, except more expensive. How is that possible?

It tasted like malt liquor but had that "red" beer flavor too it. "Nain Rouge??" More like this shit was brewed with water straight out of the River Rouge, a filthy disgusting river full of industrial waste.

Bottom line, Don't waste your money. I've heard that the rest of Detroit Brewing Company's offerings are also sub par as well.
