I liked an Instagram photo by springaling85

This picture is amazing in a lot of ways.. First, it's my husbands great great great grandfather (I believe I might be wrong on how many greats lol) Second, it's the day he finally signed the treaty giving his land basically to the white man for fear of extermination & third, its a reminder of how we treated people & gave those without the same beliefs no value...it's a sad truth but I hope it's one we don't ever try to repeat
