There is this website called "The Shorty Awards." If you've never heard of The Shorty Awards, they're basically a social media driven award system. What do you win? Nothing really, just recognition for your hard work.
There is this poor starving artist from Norway, named David Sandum. David is currently stuck in 3rd place in the art category behind Justin Bieber's DJ, Tay James, of all people. Why is Justin Bieber's DJ in the art section? And what the fuck does Justin Bieber need a DJ for anyways?
I'm not just blindly posting this either. David Sandum's website is located here - http://www.davidsandum.com/ He makes pretty cool oil paintings, but what I really like are his ink drawings.
So David organizes stuff and sells teh arts to buy kids books n shit. He donates proceeds from little art gallery sales he puts together to charity. He's a pretty cool guy, really.
