Walmart Wednesday: Great plan, Ron

A shopper at a Walmart in Florida is a hero after blocking in some really awful shoplifters with his mini-van.

"The lady with the shopping cart full of stuff went running right past me," said Ron.

Police are calling Ron a hero, "Food, laundry detergent, clothes ...Two old ladies and a teller clerk against a car doesn't look like good odds here." Fortunately Ron stepped in to save the day with his minivan - parking it behind the vehicle of the fleeing shoplifters. "(they) backed up, saw that I was in her way and then rammed me," Ron said. "Right into the front of my van. Then backed up and rammed me again."

It's a good thing Ron stepped in. Considering Walmart greeters are old ladies that can break hips while attempting to stop shoplifters. It also sounds like they were pretty bad, stealing food, laundry stuff, and clothes. Hardened criminals. Probably stealing it all to sell on the black market.

Of course, Now Ron is stuck with the bill to get his van repaired. All in the name of helping out a megacorporation. Of course, if Walmart cared that much about shoplifting they'd probably get a better security team.

"Ron" should have done like the rest of the underpaid Walmart employees and looked the other way.
