There's a Scabies Outbreak in Atlanta

I would just like to throw it out there that there is an outbreak of scabies happening right now in Atlanta, Georgia.

Emergency room and physician visits in the metro area are on the rise thanks to this highly contagious skin disease. Just want to throw it out there to forewarn everyone. Scabies is most often transmitted by skin-to-skin contact but can also be contracted from bedding and furniture, so stay off the couches at the local crack houses and maybe think twice when you sit down at the bar this weekend. And yes, it can be transmitted by sexual contact. Unfortunately condoms won't stop you from getting this because the little mite fuckers like to hang out on your pubes.

Symptoms of a scabies infection include;

Intense itching and the appearance of superficial burrows in the hands, feet, wrists, elbows, back, butt, and genital areas (your cock n balls or vajayjay area).

Getting scabies sucks, but thankfully it is treatable. If you think you have scabies you really need to go see a doctor though, because its not going to go away on its own. And no, pouring vodka on your balls and lighting them on fire won't work. Neither will dropping your balls into a blender and turning it on. But trust me, if you get scabies, that's exactly what you're going to feel like doing.

While researching this article, I just wanted to throw it out there that it seems that people that have stayed at the Econo Lodge on Virginia Avenue have been complaining of contracting scabies from the bed linens.

"my wife and I both have reddend raised bumps that look a great deal like
scabies after a one night stay in this dive.
